Why and How We Got Started
 In March of 2000 the Lord delivered the vision of MyPrayerPlace.com to the founder, Diko Maybalian. "MyPrayerPlace.com was something I personally needed because of the sin that was rampant in my own life.  In March of 2000, I was dealing with the recent death of my father and like most other young men my age, I was trying to find and form my own identity.  The combination of these two led to much sin which compromised my faith.   I needed prayer and I knew it! My problem was I was afraid to ask anyone I personally knew because I feared they would look down on me, condemn me, or simply discount my need and not pray."

In September of 2002, the Lord reconfirmed His vision and desire and led Diko to turn to Armen Petrosian, friend and technology guru.  With the Vision in mind, Armen's technology skills at hand and the grace and guidance of the Lord, MyPrayerPlace.com was launched on November 8, 2002! The need was incredible as we saw over 30,000 different people visiting our site daily from over 81 countries. Unfortunately in November of 2003 MyPrayerPlace.com was hacked by a self proclaimed cult member and has been offline until today.

Praise the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness!  MyPrayerPlace.com is back and ready to serve once again!
